13 Oct Homecoming Tomorrow Night!
The Homecoming Game is tomorrow night at the west campus Athletic Complex, located at 3701 NW 44 Street in Lauderdale Lakes. The Lions Varsity Football team will take on the University School Sharks! Admission is $5 (cash only) for adults, and students are free.
Arrive early for pre-game food and festivities at 6:00 p.m. There will be a Cub Zone for kids presented by Collision Care Xpress. The Lions Athletic Club (LAC) is hosting a Pig Roast! “Going Whole Hog” Tyler Fontaine, “Cuban BBQ Extraordinaire” Nelson Ruiz, and “Pit Master” Ken Nowicki are preparing to serve you a meal you will definitely want to “pig out” on.
The meal is $15 per person and includes:
- Pulled pork sandwich, hamburger, or a 1/4 pound hot dog
- Signature Side Dish (jalapeño creamed corn, “Not Your Mama’s Baked Beans,” or baked mac and cheese)
- Regular Side Dish (coleslaw, salad, or chips)
- Beverage (water, soda, or Gatorade)
Cash or credit cards will be accepted, and regular LAC concessions will be available as well. We expect the grass lot to fill quickly. We will have overflow parking available with people and signage to direct you there once the lot is full.
