15 Feb Heroes’ Day With Super School

The 8th-grade class participated in our first Heroes’ Day, where they paired up with students from Super School and engaged with them in a variety of field day activities. Our students were able to live out their faith as they served and connected with other students in South Florida. WA students later shared how the day impacted them and what their takeaways were. One of the Super School staffers spoke to Mr. Pelland and shared, “Your students were amazing. Reflecting God and his love to all of our students.” This special day not only served others, but allowed our students to grow as Christ followers, community builders, and compassionate contributors as identified in the Westminster Academy Portrait of a Graduate.
