A Word From The Headmaster

Welcome!

More than 50 years ago, the seed of Westminster Academy was planted—an idea conceived around a dining room table by Dr. D. James Kennedy and supported by families from Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church. Through God’s faithfulness, that vision has blossomed into a nationally recognized academic institution. Westminster Academy’s mission encompasses the entirety of Christian education, from academics and arts to athletics, all aimed at guiding students towards their ultimate purpose, the chief end of man—to know God and enjoy Him forever.

In the midst of a prevailing humanistic culture that exalts the glory of humanity over God, we remain steadfast in our commitment to Christ, recognizing that our foundation lies solely in Him. Rejecting the hollow promises of the world, we embrace the richness of God’s truth.

Over the years, the programs at Westminster Academy have been honed to make the most of the 16,000 hours students spend in school. Our aspirations extend beyond graduation, shaping the lives of our alumni. This vision is encapsulated in our Portrait of a Graduate, which strives to cultivate individuals who are Christ-followers, community builders, committed to excellence, critical thinkers, and compassionate contributors.

The legacy of our school is the fruit of a faithful community that has poured into students and worked tirelessly to establish programs of distinction. It is my hope that as you delve deeper into the work of God at Westminster Academy, your heart will be uplifted and encouraged.

In Christ,
