This year’s Homecoming is one for the books. School spirit ran high throughout the week with decorated hallways, dress-up days, and pep rally. Congratulations to the Freshmen class on winning the best Hallway and earning 1st Place for Homecoming Points! The combination of celebrating our legacy and love for our school sent the week to soaring heights.
Then, the fun continued at the west campus Athletic Complex. Decorated tailgates and pennants welcomed alumni and current families to the WA Homecoming Tailgate and Hall of Honor Induction Ceremony. Food trucks, games, and crafts gave even our littlest fans something to enjoy before kick-off.
Our WA Lions faced Everglades Prep Panthers on the football field, and they secured a decisive victory of 42–0, with fireworks lighting the sky each time they scored. At halftime, we crowned the Homecoming King and Queen, seniors Carson Elmer and Kamryn Casey!
