11 Dec The Lightning Thief Tickets Go On Sale January 14!
Please make plans to join us for The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical, presented by Himmarshee Landing, Moss & Smoker at the Township Center for Performing Arts in Coconut Creek February 21–22.
The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical is a rock-style stage adaptation of Rick Riordan’s bestselling novel, following Percy Jackson, a young demigod who must retrieve Zeus’ stolen lightning bolt to prevent a war among the Greek gods. Along the way, Percy faces monsters, struggles with his newly discovered powers he can’t control, and learns about belonging. While the musical explores action, self-discovery, and the complexities of family, it also offers a powerful contrast between the false, selfish gods of mythology and the true, loving God. Unlike the Greek gods, who represent empty and fickle beliefs, 1 John 3:1 reminds Christians that they are deeply loved by a God who cares for them as His children: “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God.”
Tickets will go on sale at noon on Tuesday, January 14!
