You may recall the 16,000 hours that we reference as the time a child is in school from kindergarten to twelfth grade. The Class of 2024 at Westminster Academy recently embarked on their senior trip, a six-day-long adventure that solidified their bond as a class and sent them off into the next chapter with a heart full of memories. The trip was far more than sightseeing and nature parks. The ever-enthusiastic Mr. Jominy shared his signature devotion with the seniors—a WA tradition! During our annual fifth-grade trip to Pigeon Key, WA, students had a "fin-tastic" time learning about marine life! This hands-on marine science education experience brought the ocean's wonders to life. Westminster Academy recently held its annual year-end awards ceremonies, recognizing the outstanding accomplishments of students in both the PREP (Grades 3-6) and Eighth-grade programs. The PREP ceremony was a joyous celebration. Students were recognized for their academic progress with our Honor Roll Recipients, service as Student Council Members, and Sportsmanship and Perseverance Awards. The “Timothy Award” and “Young Lion Award” highlighted Christian character and well-rounded development fostered in the PREP program at WA.
