Fourth-grade students concluded their Florida geography unit with an exciting field trip to Everglades National Park. They explored Shark Valley and Gator Park, gaining an immersive experience of Florida’s unique habitat. At Shark Valley, students enjoyed a scenic tram ride through the Everglades, observing wildlife like alligators and blue herons. They also climbed the Lookout Tower for panoramic views. Recently, Westminster Academy hosted the 49th Annual Florida Christian College Fair. Twenty-eight Christian colleges from across the nation were set up to visit with our students and students from other area high schools in the James F. Lindsay Gymnasium. Juniors and seniors spoke with college representatives to learn what each school offers.
