Students in fourth grade took a trip to the oldest city in the U.S., known for its Spanish colonial architecture and rich history. Day one included the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, the Old Jail, the Heritage Museum, the General Store, and a walking tour visiting historical landmarks around the city. The 8th-grade class participated in our first Heroes’ Day, where they paired up with students from Super School and engaged with them in a variety of field day activities. Our students were able to live out their faith as they served and connected with other students in South Florida. WA students later shared how the day impacted them and what their takeaways were.
