Registration is now open for the 13th Annual Westminster Academy Sporting Clay Tournament presented by Fusion Powder Coating on Friday, December 6, at Quail Creek Sporting Ranch in Okeechobee. Spend the day in the great outdoors! Participants will enjoy a country breakfast, then take aim at clay pigeons on a 14-station course, and end the event with a hearty lunch. All skill levels are welcome to participate! Minors must be accompanied by a participating parent. The registration fee is $400 per shooter, $1600 per foursome, and student entry is $200. Fourth-grade students concluded their Florida geography unit with an exciting field trip to Everglades National Park. They explored Shark Valley and Gator Park, gaining an immersive experience of Florida’s unique habitat. At Shark Valley, students enjoyed a scenic tram ride through the Everglades, observing wildlife like alligators and blue herons. They also climbed the Lookout Tower for panoramic views. We celebrate the accomplishments of seven students who earned the prestigious AP Capstone Diploma during the 2023–24 academic year.
