Our Westminster Academy community celebrated Veterans Day with gratitude and joy. K–12 students gathered for a meaningful chapel, welcoming veterans from our community and praying with their Prayer Buddies. Colonel Barry Gorter—WA alumni parent and decorated Air Force leader—shared about military service and encouraged students to stay “on target” by putting on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10–17). The celebration continued with our beloved 37th annual PK4 Red, White & Blue Bike Parade! It’s been an exciting season for our Fine Arts students, filled with incredible performances, honors, and achievements across choir, orchestra, band, and theatre. Choir:Congratulations to Greta Harms, who represented WA in the Florida ACDA Honor Choir. Greta was one of just 176 students selected statewide to perform John Rutter’s Gloria under the direction of world-renowned conductor Dr. André Thomas—a remarkable accomplishment that showcased her talent and dedication.
