The PREP & Lower School Student Council went Christmas caroling throughout the Imperial Point and Pompano Beach area. They visited the Savoy at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, passed out Christmas coloring pages, and then sang several Christmas songs. The students then visited several homes and finished the evening at the highly decorated and famous Macek Family Christmas Lights in Pompano Beach.The Upper School Student Councils, in partnership with Habitat for Humanity Broward, held a Christmas Toy Drive. We were honored to welcome Dr. Alveda King to our campus last week. Dr. King is the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. She is an author, speaker, and activist with a passion for the pro-life cause. Dr. King serves as a Senior Fellow at the Institute for Faith & Culture and is the Chair of the Center for the American Dream at America First Policy Institute. This past weekend, the cast and crew of Godspell put on three extraordinary performances under the direction of Mrs. Cox, Upper School Drama teacher, and senior Rowan Smith as the student director.
