During Christmas Break, our Men’s Basketball Team traveled to Bristol, Tennesee, to play in the 39th Annual Arby’s Classic Basketball Tournament. While the tournament was happening, Mary Elbert ’01 Herrera, a Westminster Academy alumna who now lives in Tennessee, took her family to the tournament to cheer on her alma mater. While watching the game from the bleachers, the Herrera family bonded with the basketball families. Our annual dinner auction, Chart the Course, presented by Benedetti Orthodontics, will be held on Friday, April 14, at 6:30 p.m. at the Coral Ridge Yacht Club. Thank you to our WA community for your generosity! Since the beginning of our fiscal year on July 1, we have received over $320,000 towards our Annual Fund goal of $600,000. Re-enrollment for the 2023–24 school year is just around the corner. Next week, all currently enrolled families will receive an email with details about the re-enrollment process. The preferred enrollment window for our current families begins on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, the first day of the second semester, and concludes on January 31. Last year we had a 92% retention rate and high interest from new families, which resulted in waiting lists.
