Feed the Block Thanksgiving Outreach: Thanksgiving is quickly approaching, which means it is time for our annual Feed the Block event! Each year, our outreach ministry provides Thanksgiving meals to our neighboring Avondale community. There are three ways we are asking our church and WA family to get involved. Bring in non-perishable food items, donate the cost of a meal, or sign up to volunteer at the November 22nd meal distribution. We’re excited to launch this year’s Annual Fund Drive, October 27–31! Our theme, “Chart the Course Today. Impact Generations Tomorrow,” reminds us that together we can build on WA’s strong foundation while investing in the future. The Annual Fund supports the margin of excellence that defines the WA experience—people, programs, and places. From partial tuition assistance and faculty support to athletics, fine arts, robotics, and campus improvements, every gift makes a difference.
