Join us this Friday, August 15, at 6:00 p.m. for the Varsity Football Kickoff Classic and Back-to-School Tailgate at the west campus Athletic Complex. The Lions Varsity Football Team will take on the Somerset Academy Key Lions with the game kickoff at 7:00 p.m. There will be fun for the whole family! Be sure to come hungry—food will be available from the Lions Athletic Club Concessions Stand and a dessert food truck. Both cash and credit cards will be accepted. We are excited to share a remarkable milestone in Westminster Academy athletics. The Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) has announced the Florida Dairy Farmers 2025 Class 2A Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball Player of the Year Awards—and for the first time ever, both recipients are from the same school—Westminster Academy! Track and Field: State Competitors The WA Track and Field program was well represented with 22 student-athletes competing at the 1A State Championships at the University of North Florida’s Hodges Stadium on Saturday, May 10. They returned with 10 medals in seven events, with each athlete performing exceptionally well—even after a three-hour lightning. The top 8 places medal and are All-State finishers.
