At the end of February, high school students spent the day volunteering in the community for Service Project Day. Each grade served at a different local nonprofit organization, meeting real needs in our community. Ninth-grade students attended The Fruitful Field, where they worked in the community garden and helped provide fresh produce to needy families. Students mulched and weeded five fields and painted garden equipment for the community garden. They also served at Hope South Florida by preparing 200 sandwiches and 200 hygiene bags to distribute to the homeless community. They served 225 individuals a hot meal and sorted 150 pounds...

The PREP & Lower School Student Council went Christmas caroling throughout the Imperial Point and Pompano Beach area. They visited the Savoy at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, passed out Christmas coloring pages, and then sang several Christmas songs. The students then visited several homes and finished the evening at the highly decorated and famous Macek Family Christmas Lights in Pompano Beach. The Upper School Student Councils, in partnership with Habitat for Humanity Broward, held a Christmas Toy Drive. This fall, our Advancement Team launched our Student Ambassador Program. These high school students serve the office of the Headmaster and the Advancement Team, representing Westminster Academy on campus and in our community. Student ambassadors share the mission and story of our school at various events with current and prospective families. As part of the experience, the student ambassadors were invited by the D.
