Recently, Westminster Academy hosted the 49th Annual Florida Christian College Fair. Twenty-eight Christian colleges from across the nation were set up to visit with our students and students from other area high schools in the James F. Lindsay Gymnasium. Juniors and seniors spoke with college representatives to learn what each school offers. Often, the college representatives who visit are the ones who are reading through applications, so this opportunity to connect can make a significant impact. WA is honored to host this annual event! Our fine arts department hosted several renowned clinicians for our band and orchestra students! They brought their expertise and passion to inspire our young musicians. Featured Clinicians: Jean Caze is a Jazz legend who has played with the biggest names in music and is now a featured soloist for Michael Bublé. Beyond his performances, Jean is a dedicated educator, imparting his expertise to aspiring musicians and earning acclaim for his lyrical tone and inventive approach. The sixth-grade students had an unforgettable spiritual retreat as part of their faith journey, centered around the theme “God’s Blueprint on Love,” inspired by Matthew 22:37–39, where Jesus teaches about the greatest commandments: to love God with all your heart, soul, and mind, and to love your neighbor as yourself. This foundational concept shaped their day as they reflected on how love is central to their relationship with God and others.
