Service is a trait we focus on throughout the school. Our Lower School and PREP students had a wonderful opportunity to be a part of blessing students at College Susan Schuenke in Haiti. The Lower School and PREP Student Council packed over 300 bags with presents for each student at the school. They also made Gospel bracelets to help share the love of Christ. The PREP & Lower School Student Council went Christmas caroling throughout the Imperial Point and Pompano Beach area. They visited the Savoy at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, passed out Christmas coloring pages, and then sang several Christmas songs. The students then visited several homes and finished the evening at the highly decorated and famous Macek Family Christmas Lights in Pompano Beach. Technically, we have fall too, but instead of colorful leaves, we mark the end of hurricane season. Regardless of location, November contains my favorite holiday—Thanksgiving! I appreciate Thanksgiving because it is a low-pressure holiday. One doesn’t have to purchase the perfect gift, listen to carols, and argue about the best Christmas movie. Here is a recap from the Fall Season: Cheer They worked hard all season with off-campus practices and training while traveling alongside the Varsity Football team, cheering them onto many victories. The team is also preparing for their first competition since 2015, coming up this winter.
