The Lady Lions Volleyball program hosted its annual Pink Night on Tuesday, October 4, where it helped raise awareness for breast cancer. The day kicked off with students, faculty, and staff members being able to wear pink for the day for a minimum donation of $1. The evening included a four-game series against the Boca Christian Blazers. A bake sale and a donation table gave families and fans an opportunity to support the cause. The proceeds from the day were donated to the Dorothy Mangurian Comprehensive Women’s Center at Holy Cross Hospital to aid in the fight against breast cancer....

Registration is now open for the 11th Annual Westminster Academy Sporting Clay Tournament presented by Fusion Powder Coating on Friday, December 2, at Quail Creek Sporting Ranch in Okeechobee. Spend the day in the great outdoors! Participants will enjoy a country breakfast, then take aim at clay pigeons on a 14-station course, and end the event with a hearty lunch. All skill levels are welcome to participate! However, all minors must be accompanied by a participating parent. We are also looking for businesses and families to sponsor the event. Opportunities begin at $200 and provide great marketing exposure to our school...

While it is difficult to fully understand the impact of 9/11 on our culture, each of us bears its mark. Our new school-branded activity bus was showcased at the football game last Friday night, where the varsity Lions won 23–0 over the Bradenton Christian School Panthers in the first game of the regular season! This additional bus will transport students to a variety of off-campus activities and will also serve as a traveling billboard for our school while representing Westminster Academy's standard of excellence! We are grateful for the family who provided a $50K match to encourage generosity for this project, which was chosen as our Annual Auction Heart Raise last spring.
