While it is difficult to fully understand the impact of 9/11 on our culture, each of us bears its mark. Perhaps buoyed by the rallying cry of “Never Forget” or inspired by the accounts of remarkable courage, dedication, and heroism, the memories of that day and those that followed are forever seared in our conscience. Congratulations to WA Alumnus Michael A. Taylor from the Class of 2009 for receiving his first Gold Glove Award! We are proud of his work and accomplishments. The Westminster Academy Alumni Association and Athletic Department honored Taylor in February of 2020 by retiring his baseball jersey #3. Never again will another student-athlete represent WA on the baseball field with #3. Previously, the Alumni Association inducted Taylor into Westminster Academy’s Athletic Hall of Honor in 2015.
