During the week of September 19, students in grades six and up went to Vero Beach for their Spiritual Retreats. During this time, they worshiped together and heard from WA alumnus Will Buschmann ’12, the Student Ministries Director at Rio Vista Church, who talked about the importance of their relationship with God and how to keep it strong. Later in the day, activities began that fostered team building with other students and teachers, like kayaking, bike riding, basketball, cupcake decorating, and paintballing. The Homecoming Game is tomorrow night at the west campus Athletic Complex, located at 3701 NW 44 Street in Lauderdale Lakes. The Lions Varsity Football team will take on the University School Sharks! Moms in Prayer International aims to impact students and schools worldwide for Christ by gathering mothers to pray.
