During the week of September 19, students in grades six and up went to Vero Beach for their Spiritual Retreats. During this time, they worshiped together and heard from WA alumnus Will Buschmann ’12, the Student Ministries Director at Rio Vista Church, who talked about the importance of their relationship with God and how to keep it strong. Later in the day, activities began that fostered team building with other students and teachers, like kayaking, bike riding, basketball, cupcake decorating, and paintballing.
