Welcome to the 2024-2025 winter athletic season! Below, you will find a list of the winter sport tryout dates and contact information for each coach. Bus transportation will be offered to and from the west campus athletic complex for student-athletes daily and will depart the east campus at 3:15 p.m. Also, we have transitioned to a new online platform this year called PRIVIT for our athletic physical documentation. Every student-athlete must have a PRIVIT account with all documents signed and submitted electronically, an ImPACT test, and three NFHS certificates (Heat Illness, Concussion in Sports, and Sudden Cardiac Arrest) before they try out. We are looking forward to another exciting year in athletics at Westminster Academy. We are offering stadium-style box seating in the gymnasium and football stadium to support the basketball, cheer, football, and volleyball programs. This unique seating is an excellent opportunity to contribute to our athletic programs and provide a comfortable and unique athletic experience for our family and fans. Our Ladies’ Soccer team advanced to the Regional Semifinals and lost a close match against the True North Classical Titans 0-2. They got stronger as the season went on and had a solid postseason finish as District Runner-Ups. The Ladies’ Basketball team won the Regional Quarterfinals last night, so they will advance to the Regional Semifinals, which will be played on Monday, February 19, at 7:00 p.m. at Somerset Prep North Lauderdale. We’re looking forward to a week of school spirit in honor of Winter Court with dress-up days, hallway decorations, the Winter Court representative’s presentation in the Upper School chapel, and Friday’s pep rally. All festivities lead to the Winter Court Men’s Varsity Basketball game at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, against Taravella High School.
