We’re looking forward to a week of school spirit in honor of Winter Court with dress-up days, hallway decorations, the Winter Court representative’s presentation in the Upper School chapel, and Friday’s pep rally. All festivities lead to the Winter Court Men’s Varsity Basketball game at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, against Taravella High School. Our annual dinner auction, Passport to Paris, presented by Benedetti Orthodontics, will be held on Friday, March 22, at 6:30 p.m. at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa. Please save the date for this exciting evening of fellowship and fundraising for our school. Ticket sales begin February 8. This is the largest fundraising event of the year, so please get involved! The Lions Athletic Club (LAC) offers WA Parent 2’ x 3’ Banners for $500 for the 2023–24 academic year on the east or west campus. 100% of the proceeds will be used to support athletics. The Fishing Tournament presented by the Lions Parent Association was held on Friday, March 31! Thirteen boats participated, along with 31 anglers on the drift boat! Special thanks to LPA Co-Chair Christy LaCaria and our Mane Event Team Co-Leaders, Mark Scott and Joe Jernigan, for planning the event and Trae West at Big Dog Tackle for his assistance with logistics and coordinating the weigh-in. The Fishing Tournament presented by the Lions Parent Association is coming up on Friday, March 31. Please register by Friday, March 17, to receive a long sleeve performance shirt (UPF 50+).
