Our 2024–25 Student Ambassador Program is continuing to grow and thrive, providing exciting opportunities for our students. These high school ambassadors actively serve the Headmaster's office and the Advancement Team, representing Westminster Academy both on campus and within the community. We celebrate the accomplishments of seven students who earned the prestigious AP Capstone Diploma during the 2023–24 academic year. The following students were awarded the AP Capstone Diploma by earning scores of 3 or higher in AP Seminar, AP Research, and on 4 additional AP Exams: Alessia Boeri Thomas Breza Stefen Cammarata Andrés Delgado Samantha Omslaer Kaylee Graves Hannah Valdivia Additionally, Karlynn Cordano has earned the AP Seminar and Research Certificate during the 2023–24 school year. Recently, Westminster Academy hosted the 49th Annual Florida Christian College Fair. Twenty-eight Christian colleges from across the nation were set up to visit with our students and students from other area high schools in the James F. Lindsay Gymnasium. Juniors and seniors spoke with college representatives to learn what each school offers. Join us this Friday, August 16, at 6:00 p.m. for the Varsity Football Kickoff Classic and Back-to-School Tailgate at the West Campus Athletic Complex. The Lions Varsity Football Team will take on the Somerset Academy Key Lions with the game kickoff at 7:00 p.m. There will be fun for the whole family! Be sure to come hungry—food will be available from food trucks, and the Lions Athletic Club Concessions Stand will be open. Both cash and credit cards will be accepted.
