On January 27, High School students spent the day volunteering in the community for Service Project Day. Each grade served at a different local non-profit organization. Students in 9th grade attended The Fruitful Field, where they worked in the community garden and helped to provide fresh produce to underserved families in the community, and at Feeding South Florida, where they packed 10,000 pounds of food. Students in 10th grade served for Heart2Heart Outreach, where they were split between two care center facilities impacting 40 senior citizens. The Lions Parent Association will host a fishing tournament on Friday, March 31. The tournament will begin at 7:30 a.m. from the Hillsboro Inlet. Weigh-ins will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Sands Harbor Resort & Marina, followed by an awards ceremony at 4:00 p.m. You may use your own boat or join us on a drift boat that will be available. As we begin the second half of the school year, we would like to share an update regarding school leadership. Effective as of January 1, Dr. Ron Farrar has been promoted to the position of Assistant Headmaster in addition to his role as Upper School Principal.
