For the third consecutive year, we celebrated 100% giving participation to the Annual Fund from our faculty, staff, and school board in August. Building on the example set by our faculty and staff, we will launch our Annual Fund Drive on October 21, and aim to reach 50% parent participation by the 50th day of school on Thursday, October 27. Because of a generous $25,000 matching gift, every dollar will be doubled up to that amount, beginning today through our Annual Fund Drive. WA parents, our first Coffee with the LPA will be held on Friday, October 21, from 8-9:15 a.m. in the DeVos Chapel (Northeast corner of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church). This month's topic will be Internet Safety, presented by the Cyber Safety Division of the FBI. Though the content is geared towards parents of students in grades 5-12, it's never too early to learn tips on how to safeguard your child on the internet. Registration is now open for the 11th Annual Westminster Academy Sporting Clay Tournament presented by Fusion Powder Coating on Friday, December 2, at Quail Creek Sporting Ranch in Okeechobee. Spend the day in the great outdoors! Participants will enjoy a country breakfast, then take aim at clay pigeons on a 14-station course, and end the event with a hearty lunch.
